Cardboard bread clips hitting grocery shelves after Quebec company ditches plastic

KLR Systems, from Saint-Pie, Que., produces millions of bread clips a year. But the company’s president said that after seeing how much plastic is used, it decided to make the change to using recycled cardboard.
