Good news, bad news: 44 Gaukel hub project a success but building may need gutting

The creative hub at 44 Gaukel in downtown Kitchener has “successfully transformed” a former Canada Post building “into the vibrant and central hub envisioned” in 2018, when the pilot project was approved. City staff say the creative hub should continue beyond this year, but it may need to move.
